Handmade Gypsy Caravans

In the early 1970s when I was young a gypsy caravans suddenly appeared in a field less than a mile away from home. As I was interested in wheelwrighting and horse drawn vehicles I went up to visit them, they were living in this caravan as a young family running a smallholding. I started working for them part time doing odd jobs, learning the trade of caravan building. Over the years I have done many repairs on caravans. This year has given me the opportunity to build complete caravans from scratch, which has proved to be nostalgic and satisfying and life seems to have come around full circle.

These are hand built to order allowing you to choose your own colour scheme and either canvas or felt covering. They take around 3 months to build so get your order in early.
